What is the PRET test fee?
The PRET fee is Rs.  xxxx for the General candidates appearing for the first time.The fees structure based on the number of attempt and category of the candidate (i.e.SC/ST/SEBC/PH/General/Women) is given below : You can pay the test fee by online/offline mode

How do I pay PRET test fee?
You can pay the test fee by online mode through credit card, debit card or Internet banking facility. Your parents/friends can also pay on your behalf using their debit card, credit card or net banking facility.
To pay, Login to your PRET account, go to MyTest --> PRET Test --> Click on Apply Test --> Click Apply --> Click on Make Payment.
Alternatively, if you have already applied for the test, go to MyTest --> Click on Make Payment.
How your parents/friends/relatives can pay on-line on your behalf ?
For offline payment facility:
Facility for off-line payment of fees is available at the branches of xxxxxx Bank as mentioned under “Off-line payment facility ”
For off-line payment, you or your friend/relative may go to the nearby/convenient branch (from amongst the list of branches) and fill in the prescribed payment-slip/challan,in duplicate/triplicate, wherein, Name of the Candidate, Exam no. and unique application/registration no. corresponding to that exam shall be filled in and the same shall be submitted alongwith the requisite fees in cash at the bank counter. One copy with stamp of the Bank as “Paid in Cash”will be returned to the person who has paid at the counter.
What is the validity period for a PRET test?
The test score will be valid for 3 years from the date of test.
How many times can I give PRET test?
There is no restriction on the number of attempts for the PRET test. You can publish your best score which will then be visible for short listing process.However, there shall be a minimum duration of …………. Months/weeks between two successive attempts .
Overview of the total process..
The overall process can be explained as follows:
  • Go to www.pret.com and click on Candidate Register Here. Register by entering your email id and password.
  • Activate your account by clicking on the link sent to your email id.
  • Visit any Jan Sewa Kendra with your valid photo ID proof( any one of: EPIC,PAN card, Aadhar card,Driving License,Passport) and documents related to your educational qualification(Degree certificates, mark-sheets of SSC,HSC,Graduation,PG etc.) and certificates of caste, physical disability etc. in original. You will be completely registered on PRET after having introduced your fingerprints at the Jan Sewa Kendra.
  • You have to pay Rs………… to the Jan Seva Kendra for the aforesaid service .
  • Fill up your profile with your Personal and Academic and Professional details.
  • Go to My Test->Upcoming Tests and apply for PRET test.
  • Make the payment Online/Offline.
  • Select the center most convenient to you.
  • Download Admit card from My Test screen.
  • Give PRET test on the designated center.
  • Normally the results will be declared within a day of test in My Test->My Scores section.
  • Go to My Vacancies-> Search Vacancies and apply to whichever recruitment exam you are eligible for and interested in.
  • Check the status of your candidature in the My Vacancies section.

  • Companies  may call you for GD/PI based on your PRET score and profile and other criteria mentioned in the Job Posting.

Where can I get my login credentials for the test I applied?
Your login credentials for exam will be mentioned on your Admit Card. Admit card will be available for download from My Test screen after successful payment from the mentioned date uptill the exam date.

Can I cancel PRET test once I have made payment?
No. Once we have received the payment, the system would automatically allocate a seat for you in the test location. Cancellation of the same is not possible.

What documents should I bring to PRET test centre?
You will have to carry any one of the following:
  • Photo Identity proof such as Passport, Driving license, PAN Card, Voter Id card, Aadhar card 
What cities in Gujarat PRET conducts test?
 At present, the exam-centers for conducting PRET are as shown under “List of PRET Centers”. The list is subject to changes from time-to-time i.e. new cities and centers may be added to/ included in the list and at some times, some centers may be discarded.
